About Liisa
Welcome to the Painter Liisa Viima´s Artistic website. The site is called "Anna´s Art Gallery", after Liisa´s first name Anna.
Liisa paints beautiful Art from Heart, and she also loves to work with commissions.
She loves oil on canvas the most, but finds mixed media attractive, too.
Her style is contemporary - abstract realistic, sometimes even surrealistic and whimsical.
Strong textures, many layers. Brushstrokes, where you can feel her energy!
She often uses specific symbols like hearts, pigeons, horses, stars and the Sun and the Moon to describe unity, humanity, love, forgiveness, peace and hope, winning the suffering in Life.

Liisa Viima
Liisa Viima is a painter, whose mission is “to bring Joy and Beauty into our World.” She resides and works as almost a fulltime artist with a beautiful view of the countryside, Siuntio, south of Finland.
Liisa has been creating art from an early age.
In 2022 she brought her artistic vision to fruition after graduating from online studies at the Milan Art Institute. In a short period of time, she has achieved art career success. Her art has been selected for juried and curated exhibitions and she has received many accolades and commissions. She is joyfully expanding a coterie of collectors and honors.
Liisa has given numerous of solo exhibitions and attended a variety of curated group exhibitions both physical - eg. "Paris Carrousel du Louvre" and digital eg. Miami Art Weeks in 2025 and many more in 2026, too.
As a member of the Finnish Artist Association Liisa has participated in several of their curated annual exhibitions at Cable Factory, one of the largest Art Centers in Helsinki, Finland.
Additionally, Liisa received Letters of Honour from the Luxembourg Art Prize competition in 2022 and in 2024, organized by the Pinacothèque, a private museum located in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Liisa has also received praise for her artwork in an art review written and published by Renee Phillips, Director/Curator, Manhattan Arts International, NYC, NY. Renee wrote, “Liisa Viima creates aesthetically beautiful works of art that provide an immediate welcoming healing energy for the viewer. It is immediately apparent that one of Liisa’s many admirable attributes is her creative versatility.”

Maija Aurea
Maija Aurea is Liisa’s little sister, also born in the North of Finland. She is A Professional in Marketing, Digitalisation and Leadership development among other things. She is Master of Sciences in Economics as well as pro in Pedagogics, working as a Lecturer of Leadership and Consultant at a University of Applied Sciences. She also runs her own business as a NLP Trainer/Coach, Solution Focused Brief Therapist and Hypnotherapist.
Maija is supporting Liisa in marketing collateral issues and also warmly available to be contacted.
